In 2019, Mineros S.A.’s income increased by 68%, up to $1.35 billion

Medellín, April 6, 2020

Mineros S.A., a Company dedicated for 47 years to exploration and exploitation of precious metals, especially gold, with operations in Colombia, Argentina and Nicaragua, presented today its 2019 Financial Statements during the General Shareholders Meeting. Given the health emergency currently suffered in the country, the Meeting was made virtually.

Mineros S.A.’s income had a 68% increase in 2019, compared vs. the previous year. Income went from $805,053 million in 2018, to $1,35 billion, as of December 31, 2019. EBITDA had a 56% increase vs. 2018, going from $264,105 million in 2018, to $411,079 million in 2019. This outstanding performance was accompanied by investments in social projects for more than USD 5.5 millon.

In the General Shareholders Meeting of Mineros S.A., relevant adjustments were also approved for some of the bylaws and governance organs, as well as changes required in order to comply with standards to have access to new markets.
